About Us

Missions

Riverside’s passion is to make disciples of Jesus Christ among all people. Consequently, we want to be effective messengers of the gospel beginning locally and ultimately to the ends of the earth. Based on the model found in Acts 1:8, here’s a glance at Riverside’s approach to global disciple-making…
Downtown Penetration (Jerusalem)

The location of our home base overlooking downtown Denver presents the undeniable responsibility for us to develop ways to penetrate the communities surrounding our Diamond Hill Campus.
Regional Congregations (Judea)

The sprawling Denver metro area – along with the rising costs of property, construction and transportation – demands that we multiply Riverside’s values and mission regionally by using non-traditional models of worship venues and small groups.
Ethnic Assimilation (Samaria)

The ethnic diversity within our congregation and the Denver metro area presents the need to evangelize ethnic groups and assimilate their 2nd and 3rd generations into English-speaking congregations.
Unreached Populations (Ends of the Earth)

Our larger commission to make disciples among all people has led us to not only support the work of Southern Baptists through the Cooperative Program, but also identify international mission partnerships that are specific to Riverside. Currently, these include Canada, Indonesia and Global Refuge International.
