Worship Ministry

The Worship Choir at Riverside is a group of adult vocalists who lead the congregation every Sunday. We desire to initiate Christ’s worship by singing specially prepared songs and assisting with congregational participation in musical worship. This choir also enjoys getting outside the walls of the church to sing at various venues around Denver throughout the year. We are a non-auditioned group, and our rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings 7-8:30 in the choir room (behind the Worship Center stage). We provide childcare for young children and activities for the older ones during rehearsal so anyone can participate.The Praise Team at Riverside is a smaller, auditioned group that is selected from the membership of the Worship Choir. The Praise Team practices on Wednesday nights at 8:30 (immediately after choir rehearsal) in the Worship Center. Auditions for the Praise Team are scheduled upon request.

The Worship Band assists our congregation and choir each week through instrumental accompaniment to our song service. Players must possess a strong musical background and be willing to audition to participate in the band.

Kidz Choirs include all children from three years old through sixth grade. These groups enjoy fun weekly activities, learn basic fundamentals of music, and even lead in some of our worship services. All Kidz Choirs meet on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6-7, and perform at least one production each semester.

The Goldenaires is open to anyone 55 or older. We regularly sing in nursing homes, adult care facilities, and retirement centers as well as at Riverside. This group has a blast together at rehearsal every Wednesday 9:30-10:50 AM during the months of September through April.
